


DREW SIMS
A native of Southern California, Drew started playing volleyball as a freshman in high school where he competed at the top club level, finishing no worse than 10th place in the nation in his four years of playing club volleyball at SMBC. Drew later accepted a volleyball scholarship to Lees-McRae College where he started at Outside and Middle in his first season and as an Opposite his second and final season at Lees-McRae. He graduated in 2020 with a B.S. History and moved to East Bend, North Carolina later that year. After a gap year, Drew received another volleyball scholarship to attend Campbellsville University in Kentucky. Drew started at Opposite and Middle in his final season of collegiate play. He graduated with a Masters degree in Sport Management in 2022 where he became the first Graduate student in the program to achieve a perfect 4.0 GPA. Today, Drew lives with his wife, Emily, and he is the Athletic Program Director for the Davie County Recreation and Parks Department. Drew currently coaches the 16 Bros team.
